.Humans series 2..
With Humans being the highest rated launch of a show for channel 4 since records begun back in 2002, its no wonder that Human series 2 is on its way with the plot and more now being revealed.

Humans amassed an audience of 4 Million and is hoping to continue the growth momentum into its second series.

Humans series 2 will pick up just a few months of the last series left off.

In a recent interview writer Sam Vincent said “[The Synths have] gone a bit deeper. They’ve moved into new areas of employment. They’ve moved into new areas of our personal lives.

“Things are developing fast, as technology does in all areas. There’s lots of new, society-wide effects which we’re going to tell stories in.”

It has also been confirmed that most of the main cast are set to return including Tom Goodman-Hill as Joe Hawkins along with Katherine Parkinson and Gemma Chan as Laura Hawkins and Anita.

“The big challenge for us is to create stories… that bring the Hawkins family back into it,” Vincent explained. “We think we’ve cracked a couple of good ways to really tie them back into the big story.”

If the series is set to follow that of its Swedish counter part then we may see the return of William Hurt as a grief bot synth.

Although the writer did comment on this stating, “Tonally, there is a question of whether that would work in the tone of our show, which is a bit different from the Swedish one,” Brackley said. “We’re not ruling anything out at this stage and that’s all I can say on that at the moment.”

Series 2 of humans will also see the introduction of some new dark Villains, at this point nothing has been said as to whether any of the current cat will step over to the dark side.

“We do have a new antagonistic force in mind for this show, which is going to come into play and be embodied by a couple of new characters, but I can’t say any more than that.”

Humans series 2 will return to to both AMC in the US and Channel 4 in the UK in 2016.
