It has been 10 years since Wesley Snipes played the comic book Vampire killer, and now it has been said that Snipes is in talks to reprise his role as Blade.

With Wesley Snipes only last year finishing his 3 year stretch inside for Tax evasion, this year saw him back on the big screen in Expendables 3.

Although the film was not as successful as it was expected to be, Snipes has been reportedly offered  $3 Million and a percentage of the profits to tkae on the role as the Marvel Vampire Hunter.

With the last 5 years seeing Comic Book character taking on a whole new lease of life and popularity, it is highly likely that Blade 4 will be appreciated and accepted well by fans.

The question is will David S Goyer the writer of the original Blade trilogy come back in to the fold.  Since writing the screen play adaption for Blade Trinity Goyer has gone onto establish him self as a man to be trusted with comic book adaption screen plays.  His credits include, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight rises, Man of Steel, Constantine ( Tv Series) and is currently working on Batman v Superman and the Justice League Movies.  If Goyer is to come back to write Blade 4 it could be a while before we see the movie go into production.

At present this is all we have but will be sure to let you know on any further developments, let us know your thoughts about the return of Blade below.
