The Man from U.N.C.L.E Movie release date moved

The Man from UNCLE is due to hit cinemas next year, but the initial release date of January 2015 has now been pushed back by 7 months.

The Man from UNCLE was a classic 60’s TV show that ran from 1964 to 1968 with Robert Vaughn and David McCallum both picking up the lead roles.  For those of you that remember the series you may feel nostalgic when we tell you that a Movie adaption is heading your way.

The Spy movie will see Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) play Napoleon Solo, along with Armie Hammer’s (Lone Ranger)  playing Illya Kuryakin.

The Guy Ritchie directed movie which was recently intended to be released on January 16th 2015, has now been confirmed by Warner Bros that the release will be put back to August 14th 2015.

The Movie follows 2 operatives that work the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement agency, which will still remain set in the 1960’s during the cold war.

The cast is rounded out by Hugh Grant, Alicia Vikander, Jared Harris with it being rumoured that David Beckham has also picked up a cameo in the movie.
