It seems that not a week goes by without  The Interview” hitting headlines, now it seems UK viewers will get to see it in Cinemas this February.

For weeks Sony were unsure whether to release the movie, then they decided to ignore the threats and go ahead with it being screened in limited screens across the US netting 2.9 million. They then went onto take the bold step and release the movie onto VOD throughout the states which resulted in 4.3 Million downloads and netting Sony $31 Million.

Now for a film that reportedly only cost $45 million to make the Seth Rogen and James Franco fronted movie is dong surprisingly well this is without further international release and a DVD/Blueray release.

The movie was originally set to land on February 6th in the UK. That date had apparently been cancelled, in spite of the movie getting its BBFC classification (a 15 certificate). Yet it seems it’s now back on: UK cinema goers will be able to see The Interview on the originally intended release date.

At one time Sony was about to write the $45 million production cost of as a loss, but it seems now it may actually turn a small profit.
