.The fuguitive reboot for 2017..
It has been announced that the Fugitive is set to be remade, although its unclear as to whether it is a reboot or sequel Dr Richard Kimble will go on the run once more.

The Fugitive is arguably one of the best TV to Movie adaptions of all time, and it has the box office receipt to back this up along with Tommy Lee Jones receiving an Oscar for his betrayal of Marshal Samuel Gerard.

The movie follows Dr. Richard Kimble who is unjustly accused of murdering his wife, and goes on the run to find the real killer while being the target of a nationwide manhunt.

The 1993 movie which starred both Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones in the lead roles, was an adaption of the 1963 series of the same. The series ran from 1963 to 1967 for 4 episodes with David Janssen portraying the accused doctor.

Ford and Jones are not yet attached to the sequel but original producers Arnold and Anne Kopelson are back.

The Movie did spawn a sequel seeing Tommy Lee Jones return as Gerard, and Wesley Snipes as the man wrongly convicted and on the run, but only brought in $100 million at the box office a shortfall compared to the original movie of $368 million.

The question is should they really be messing around with what is already master piece, a sequel possibly but to remake it will surely be a tough and an insult to an otherwise perfect movie, let us know your thoughts below.

Production is set to commence early 2016.
