The follow up to James Wans The Conjuring has had its release date moved by Warner Bros, to an unspecified date in 2016.

The conjuring 2 was originally ear marked for an October 23rd 2015 release date but has now been rescheduled without reason.

What we do know is that Warner will be releasing another Horror in the same time slot next year, whether that will be a follow up to this years Conjuring spin of Annabelle only time will tell, alternatively it may well be “Superstition which already has a scheduled 2015 release with no confirmed date.

It has been mooted that the reason for the delay in The Conjuring 2 is due to James Wan filming schedule with his commitment to Fast & Furious 7 over running of the tragic loss of Paul Walker.

The new horror franchise is currently proving to be a hit of Warner, with the 1st movie grossing over $318 million world-wide on a show string budget of $20 million.  Whilst Annabelle that commenced its worldwide roll out 3 weeks ago has already racked in $167 million.

Both Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are expected to return to their roles as the Warrens.

More on this has we have it.
