The CW’s Arrow and new comer The Flash are set to begin this October,  and with the 2 DC characters lives having already meet on the 2nd season of Arrow, it is now set to happen again.

Arrow is currently one of The CW best performing series and they are looking to replicate that success again when The Flash starts its first season this year.  Early in Season 2 we already got to see Barry Allen have his accident which leads to him too become man of speed.  Now it has been announced that episode 8 of both series will see them meeting on screen again.

Executive Producer Andrew Kriesberg confirmed at this year’s TCA tour that “Episodes 8 of both shows, Arrow and Flash, are going to be a two-hour crossover event.”

that’s not all, as Kriesberg also confirmed that Arrow’s Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will also be turning up in The Flash in episode four of the new series. If you were planning on tuning in to The Flash but up until now have given Arrow a miss, now might be the time to start speed-watching the Starling City superhero show in preparation.

In other news from The Flash, it was also announced only recently, that Prison Breaks Wentworth Miller has been cast as Captain gold in the fourth coming series.

Arrow is set to return to The CW in the US on October 8th with The Flash starting the day before on October 7th, as of yet Sky 1 have not confirmed air dates for either shows, but as with previous seasons we  anticipate they will begin 2 weeks after they air in the US, more on UK air dates as soon as we have it.
