Arrow, Flash and now Supergirl is set to join the mix in the TV DC Comic Universe .

According to Entertainment Weekly, Arrow and Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti has suggested that 24-year-old Kara Zor-El may “enter the worlds” of Oliver Queen and Barry Allen, he said,

“The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, and with a twist that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it’s possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash.”

A two-part crossover between Arrow (Stephen Amell) and The Flash (Grant Gustin) is due to air in December, with the pair investigating a deadly case in Central City.

Details revealed about Supergirl include the fact that Jimmy Olson and Cat Grant will be making appearances, but no airdate has yet been set.

Laura Vandervoort – who played Supergirl in Smallville – has also expressed interest in playing a villain in the new CBS series.

The Arrow and The Flash crossover starts on The Flash at 8pm next Tuesday (December 2) on The CW, followed by the second part on Arrow Wednesday. Both series air on Sky1 in the UK.
