Daniel Craig is set to commence shooting before the year is out on the 24th Bond Movie, but what’s the latest.

Craig will take on the role of 007 for a fourth time, with production said to commence before the year is out for it to be ready for a scheduled October 2015 release date.

Butterworth did uncredited work on the Skyfall script, and – in consultation with Daniel Craig and returning director Sam Mendes – he’s done a bit on tinkering here too. Talking to The New Yorker, all Butterworth would say of his work on the latest Bond was that “you know, like Bond doesn’t have scenes with other men. Bond shoots other men – he doesn’t sit around chatting to them. So you put a line through that”.

The New York Post is reporting that the person singing the next James Bond song has been chosen. And that would appear to be British singer Sam Smith, who has had hits this year with ‘I’m Not the only one and ‘Stay with Me’. Although the Smith camp have not officially confirmed this, it seems it could be in the bag .  If Smith is to sing the new Bond song, he would follow other British artist’s who have had the honor to sing the title track including, Adele who performed the last track on Skyfall, as well as greats like Lulu, Dame Shirley Basseyand Sir Tom Jones.

Finally in the world of Bond (for now), Mark Strong has denied reports that he’s set to play the villain in the new film. The rumour sprung up, apparently, when Strong and Daniel Craig were spotted together, but Strong has put the record straight. “Daniel is a very good friend of mine. We’ve known each other for years and he’s a godfather to my eldest child. The reason these rumours came about is because recently we went on a walking tour together in the Atlas Mountains”, he clarified.
