A deal with Disney will see the fantasy series ‘Once Upon A time’ return to the UK via streaming giant Netflix.

The last time Netflix grabbed a US series that was previously aired on  Channel 5, they made a momentous scope as it was the Emmy award winning Breaking Bad.

Netflix’s deal for Once Upon A Time covers all four seasons of the show, with the first three seasons and the first 14 episodes of the fourth season now available to stream. New episodes will continue be made available every Wednesday, just days after they air on ABC in the United States.

The show, starring Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Regina Mills and Ginnifer Goodwin as Mary Margaret has not been on UK screens since season 2.

This is not the first time that Netflix has picked up and saved a series, obviously as previously mentioned the unforgettable Breaking Bad which helped them gain a large subscriber base, they have also saved seines like Calfornication in the UK, as well as A& E drama Longmire.

Last years saw the cancellation of Spin off series Once upon a time in wonderland cancelled by US Network ABC, after 4 seasons.
