Fox have given Scream Queens a straight to series order with 15 Episode to go into production.

The new series from Glee co creator Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, is designed to be an anthology series revolving around two female leads each season.

Scream Queens will initially revolve around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders. Much like Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story, subsequent seasons of Scream Queens will feature new settings, storylines and characters

Scream Queens” takes a cue from the anthology format that Murphy and Falchuk have used with great success on FX’s “American Horror Story,” which relaunches each season with a mostly new cast of characters. Murphy said a casting search for a dozen key roles on “Scream Queens” has already begun.”

With the pickup, Ryan Murphy will have three anthology series on the air in 2015. In addition to Scream Queens, he also has cable series American Horror Story – which was recently picked up for a fifth season – and American Crime Story, which got a straight-to-series order at FX earlier this month.

The new series is set to air in Autumn 2015, with production expected to commence in the Spring.
