Minority Report TV adaption gets pilot order from FOX

The TV series adaption of the 2002 movie Minority Report has been given the green light by Fox for a pilot order.

When we say adaption the series is actually set 10 years after the Tom Cruise front movie finished, meaning it could be touted as a sequel. When one of the three pre-cogs struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future. He meets a detective haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose for his gift.

Minority report is one of the series we have been waiting to hear more on, after Twelve Monkeys got a season order from SYFY it one of a whole host of Movie to TV adaption that have been mooted about over the last year.  Other highly anticipated adaption we are waiting to hear more on include Limitless, Underworld, Rush Hour, Devils Advocate and Westworld, we will keep you posted on these.

The hour-long pilot for Minority Report was written by Godzilla scribe Max Borenstein, who serves as an executive producer alongside Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey. Kevin Falls has also boarded the project as executive producer and showrunner. Paramount Television and 20th Century Fox Television are producing.
