..Kindergarden cop remake.
With no sign of Arnold Schwarzenegger Kindergarden Cop is set to be rebooted 25 years after it was released.

Universal’s 1400 division is behind the new film, which is currently in pre-production, Entertainment Weekly confirms.

The original movie followed a police officer who is forced to go undercover as a kindergarten teacher, in order to catch a drug dealer before he can get to his ex-wife and son. But it seems that the mvie that was orignally directed by Ivan Reitman will not follow in the same footsteps.

This time around, the title character will be paired with an Indian sidekick as the pair search for a missing flash drive from the Federal Witness protection programme that has ended up in a kindergarten classroom, according to Showbiz 411.

Don Michael Paul will direct the film from a script by American Pie 2 writer David H Steinberg.

The Kindergarten Cop remake will be released straight to DVD.

Schwarzenegger meanwhile returns to the Terminator series in Terminator Genisys, which opens on July 1 in the US and July 2 in the UK.
