Sam Mendes seconded outing in the directors chair for the James bond Franchise has hit a delay in production.

According to the Daily Mail there has been some “Polite Turmoil” within what has used as a working title Bond 24, it is alleged that there has been a reshuffle with the writers with both Skyfall writer Neil Purvis and Robert Wade coming in to give the movie a rewrite.

Ralph Fiennes has previously said that production was supposed to start this October, with this now looking as though principal photography will begin in December.

Purvis and Wade have supposedly been asked to “punch up” the Bond 24 script, by injecting more witty dialogue and interactions between Daniel Craig’s James Bond and characters such as the new Moneypenny (Naomie Harris), “Q” (Ben Whishaw) and “M” (Ralph Fiennes).

Although allegedly only coincidental it follows John Cleese making a comment about the new movie being too serious.

Although we are sure John Logan will still have some input into the script, he will be of focusing on season 2 of Penny Dreadful, whilst the 2 veteran Bond writers who have been working on the franchise since 1999, will hopefully help round of Logan’s initial outline.

But fear not, this news is not supposed add any delay to the October 2015 release date ( November in the US).
