DC Comics Supergirl to be made in to TV series.

The creator of Arrow is said to be currently developing a new series based on the DC character Supergirl.

With the DC comic book TV universe being at its largest ever another new project is now in the works, with Greg Berlanti the creator of The CW Arrow working on Supergirl.

The new series will be co created with one of the minds behind ‘No Ordinary Family’ Ali Adler.

With Berlanti track record of bring superheros to both the  small screen and big screen including Arrow, flash, No Ordinary Family and the Movie Green Lantern expect to hear more about this some time next year to appear in the 2015/2016 line up.

Supergirl is a fictional character, a superhero featuring in comic books published by DC Comics. Supergirl was created to be a female counterpart to DC’s popular hero Superman.

Supergirl was portrayed in the 1984 Movie by Helen Slater and has since appeared in the long running drama Smallville played by Laura Vandervoort.
