Better Call Saul gets premier date

Better Call Saul the spin-off series to the Cult television show Breaking Bad will premier with a double bill.

Well all American fans of  Breaking Bad should start to get excited.  The new show that centres around shady Lawyer Saul Goodman has received its premier date – the first episode will air on 8 February, in Breaking Bad’s former slot – Sundays at 10pm.

The show will then air a further episode the following day ( February 9th), in the same time slot AMC have confirmed.

Better Call Saul will trace small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill’s journey to become Albuquerque, New Mexico’s smooth-talking legal pitchman Saul Goodman.

Mike Ehrmantraut played by Jonathan Banks who died at the end of Breaking Bad will return as the fixer,  creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould have said.

Actor Bob Odenkirk who plays Saul Goodman, recently revealed that Better Call Saul will be a “total drama”, in spite of its comedic premise.

Better Call Saul’s first season will run 10 episodes, with an already-commissioned second season being comprised of 13 episodes.

Netflix have picked up the series in the UK after the huge cult following Breaking Bad picked up from the online streaming We will keep you posted on a UK premier date.
